You've installed the Content Engine to your agency sub-account. Now it's time to install it to your existing client sub-accounts.
A common mistake is jumping straight to the SaaS Configurator to set everything up. Here's the thing: SaaS Configurator changes only affect future signups - not people already on your plans.
For existing clients, you need to manually install from the marketplace.
Before installing to client sub-accounts, configure your markups. You want this set up before you install so your markups apply immediately.
1. Monthly Cost Markup
2. Usage-Based Pricing Markup
Mark up the most-used, lowest-cost items:
| Content Type | Base Cost | Suggested Markup |
|-------------|-----------|------------------|
| Templated Image Generation (Educational Carousels) | 3¢/image | 5-10¢/image |
| AI Image Generation (Brand Awareness, Ads) | 20¢/image | 25-30¢/image |
Don't mark up expensive features:
These are already 30¢/second ($3 for a 10-second video). They're expensive at market price - marking them up further discourages usage.
Once your markups are configured:
Select the same plan your agency is on:
Don't mix plans! Having different sub-accounts on different plans can cause double-charging issues.
When prompted "Who pays for this app?":
If you see an error like "Please add card details to your sub-account," it means one of your sub-accounts doesn't have a wallet configured.
Good news: If you're using SaaS Configurator for signups, wallets are automatically set up when clients sign up. You'll mostly only see this with manually-created test accounts.
